Rainbow Bridge Pet Funerals is a family-run, independent pet cremation service based in Bolton, founded by husband and wife team Michelle and James Bancroft, with support from our daughter Mya.

We started Rainbow Bridge after experiencing first-hand how difficult and impersonal pet aftercare can feel at such an emotional time. From that moment, we knew there had to be a better way — one built on compassion, transparency, and genuine care for both pets and the people who love them.

Everything we do is centred around giving families the time, space, and reassurance they need when saying goodbye. Whether that’s arranging a peaceful home euthanasia, providing a calm and private setting in our Rainbow Room, or ensuring your pet is cared for with dignity throughout every step of the cremation process, our approach is always personal and considered.

We are proud to be Bolton’s first and only APHA-approved pet crematorium, giving you the confidence that your pet is cared for to the highest standards, with full traceability and respect.
