Dedicate a Tree

You can dedicate a tree in your pet’s name in a Woodland Trust wood of your choice.

Tree dedications are available for a suggested donation from £20, making this a simple but meaningful way of creating a lasting connection between your pet and the natural world.

You can choose from participating woods across the UK, perhaps selecting somewhere close to home, somewhere you enjoyed visiting together, or simply a woodland that feels right for your pet.

Dedicate an Area of Woodland

For families looking for a larger memorial, the Woodland Trust also offers the opportunity to dedicate an area of woodland.

Woodland dedications currently start from £250 for a quarter of an acre, with larger areas available.

Rather than remembering your pet through a single tree, this allows their name and memory to become associated with a wider area of woodland – helping to support and protect precious habitats for generations to come.

Personalised Benches and Marker Posts

For an even more significant memorial, some Woodland Trust dedication options can include a personalised bench or marker post with a plaque.

These options currently start from approximately £1,500 to £3,500, depending on the type of dedication chosen and availability.

They can provide a physical place within the woodland to visit, sit quietly and remember your pet.

Your Dedication Pack

Following your dedication, the Woodland Trust will provide a personalised dedication pack.

This includes:

• A personalised dedication certificate
• A map of your chosen woodland
• Information about the wood

You can choose to have the pack sent by post or emailed to you, with an instant email option also available.

It can become another special part of your pet’s collection of memories and keepsakes.
