Pre-Paid Pet Cremation Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the Pre‑Paid Pet Cremation plans offered by Rainbow Bridge Pet Funerals (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By enrolling in a Pre‑Paid Pet Cremation plan, you agree to these terms in full.
Definitions
In these Terms:
- Plan means a Pre-Paid Pet Cremation Plan.
- Funds means monies paid by you towards the Plan.
- Service means the pet cremation services provided by us.
Nature of the Plan
The Plan is a prepayment arrangement for future pet cremation services.
It is important to understand that:
- The Plan is not a financial product
- It is not an insurance policy
- It is not a savings or investment scheme
- Contributions do not earn interest
- Funds are not invested and do not increase in value
All payments made are treated solely as contributions towards the future cost of pet cremation services.
Plan Eligibility
Pre-Paid Pet Cremation Plans are available for pets accepted by Rainbow Bridge Pet Funerals. Plans should be set up in advance of need and before your pet’s passing.
Plan Commencement
Plans become active once your first payment has been received and processed by us.
Contributions and Payments
- A minimum contribution of £10 per month (or weekly equivalent) per pet applies
- You may contribute more than the minimum at any time
- Contributions may be increased, reduced, paused or stopped at any time
- Payments may be made by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other agreed methods
The Plan does not include additional services such as home euthanasia, which are charged separately.
Pricing and Use of Funds
The cost of cremation services will be based on our pricing at the time the service is required.
Your Funds will be deducted from the final balance.
If the total Funds do not cover the full cost of the Service at the time of need, any remaining balance will be payable.
Holding of Funds
- Your Funds are held in a separate account
- Funds remain your property until used for services
- Funds are used solely for the purpose of providing pet cremation services
- Funds are not used for investment or financial purposes
Withdrawal of Funds
- You may withdraw your Funds at any time before they are used
- A £25 administration fee applies to withdrawals
- Withdrawals will be returned within a reasonable timeframe
Withdrawal of Funds will result in cancellation of the Plan.
Use of Funds for Cremation
Funds will be applied only to the cremation services and agreed fees under the Plan.
If your pet passes away before sufficient Funds have been contributed:
- The cremation can still proceed
- Any outstanding balance must be settled at the time of service
Plan Changes
You may adjust your contributions at any time by contacting us. Changes should be confirmed via your preferred communication method.
Plan Termination
We may terminate a Plan if these Terms are breached. In such cases, any remaining Funds will be returned to you, minus the £25 administration fee where applicable.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided under the Plan. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
Data Protection
We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy.
Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued participation in the Plan constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
