At Home Euthanasia

The comfort of your own home provides a peaceful and familiar setting for your pet’s final moments, allowing both you and your pet to feel as calm and at ease as possible during such a difficult time. Being surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and the people they love can make a real difference, helping to create a gentle and unhurried goodbye.

Through a small network of experienced veterinary professionals, we offer a dedicated at-home euthanasia service, with same day appointments available where possible, at no additional cost. Each vet we work with specialises in this area and understands the importance of approaching every visit with compassion, professionalism, and quiet reassurance. They will guide you through the process at your own pace, ensuring your pet is kept comfortable throughout and treated with the utmost dignity and respect.

For families who may not wish to have this take place at home, euthanasia is also available in our Rainbow Room— a calm, private space designed to offer comfort, peace, and time to say goodbye in your own way.

Wherever you feel most comfortable, we’re here to support you, offering guidance, reassurance, and care at every step.

Our Four Step Process

We have developed a dependable four step process, which we feel is the absolute best way to ensure your pets final moments are as peaceful as they deserve.

1. Consultation: We take the time to get to know you and your pet.
We will talk you through everything you need to know. You are welcome to ask us any questions you have.

2. Sedation: Designed to take any stress away.
A tiny initial injection is given which gently helps your pet in to a peaceful slumber. This ensures the whole procedure is calm and tranquil.

3. Final Injection: A pain free, dignified passing.
A painless final injection is given once your pet is asleep. They won't be aware of anything at this point and will very quickly pass away in a gentle and dignified way.

4. Aftercare and Support – Once the procedure is completed, we will respectfully take care of your pet, and prepare them for individual cremation, and provide any support you may need during this time.

Every step of the process is designed to ensure that your pet’s final moments are treated with dignity. If you are considering at-home euthanasia or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
